Permission to Speak Freely?
YES!
“If all would tell their story, Canadians would be shocked”
~Anonymous
This site seeks to provide an open space for all Canadian Armed Forces members and veterans to share their story anonymously.
Speaking up to provide meaningful change.
Without the stories, meaningful change is impossible. Here’s why:
Canadians need to hear unfiltered personal stories
Statistics are great to acknowledge the presence of a problem. But they don’t answer the question of WHY the problem exists and even less HOW it affects individuals.
Asking the right questions. Going deeper.
Why do individuals fear speaking up? Why is there secrecy and acceptance of adultery among the Canadian Armed Forces? Why the tolerance of abuse of power? Those are questions that only stories can reveal.

“I never filed another complaint of misconduct again, and kept telling myself it was either “not bad enough,” that “I could handle it,” or I would deem it “OK, it was the alcohol.” I had become a prisoner of the psychic prison.”
